What do the GT500 5.4 engines make?

orangeRcode 30.03.2020, 01:06
I'm referring to 07-10 stock and then with a pulley and tune? Vandy? Anyone?

Stock 440ish rwhp. Intake, pulley, tune 540ish.

What he said. The 10 11 and 12 cars had a bit more 40ish iirc. Due to a little more aggressive tuning.

Y do u ask rob? You looking to get one? I know where a clean one is for sale

Not looking to buy one. Just checking for a buddy I work with. He's building a 67 Fastback and wants a modern driveline. He was going with an LSx motor for the past year but I've been calling it the Bastard and telling him I wouldn't own it. He's considering a coyote and may have a line on a GT500 driveline and wanted to know what its potential was.

Bottom end is good to around 8/900. Biggest issue with the 07/09 cars are the fuel systems. But for his build it wouldn't be an issue. If it where me I'd look for a 11/12 motor just for the light weight
