rear end swap on 03 mach 1

I need to replace the rear end in my 03 mach, I have read somewhere were you can replace the rear end with a new model rear end from a 05-09, I don't know if this is true or not but im looking for some info.

Nope they still had the 4 link setup tell 04 and then in 05 they switched to a 3 link setup

Is something bent or what? (the housing I mean).
