How to tell if 5.0 motor is HO or not

I'm new to ford stuff. I'm needing help to determine whether my engine is a HO or not. Not real sure what it came out of because I bought it used, but the guy said 87 Lincoln. Truth to that, I have no idea. I'm curious if there is a way by putting the motor in TDC and determining which plug hole 1 or 3 would show compression or something along those lines? Anything helps guys kind of lost and would hate to build my plug wires for the wrong firing order.

firing order, 1,3 is correct, 1,5 is not. should follow the 351W firing order

I know the two firing orders, I'm just not sure which to use. Don't know if my motor is a HO or not
