I had an accufab TB on my 96 that was procharged, and it never gave me any issues.

Here's a little of what I dug up on the accufab surging issues and the 01 cobra motors:

talking about tps settings... there is a mode called dashpot mode which raises the idle when coasting with the clutch in if over 3mph is read by the VSS and the TPS is at idle position.

The TPS is supposed to be at the factory spec of .99
Sometimes lowering it a bit will help ...

are you running an aftermarket throttle body? I'm having similar issues with my procharged 01 cobra... just finding out that the accufab & bbk won't always work in boosted applications (idle sticking - surging issues). going back to the stock tb myself - seems to be the only fix.

One would assume that since it's putting out more ponies then then ZR1... it would be priced accordingly. Along with the typical markup, probably going to be a very spendy package. We'll see how the market recieves it.
