Sounds like a plan I'm ready for a newer one. I pulled my original stripes off and installed the silver stripes myself. I used a hair dryer to heat up the stripes and loosen the adhesive. I worked on small sections at a time and then used adhesive remover to get off the glue residue. I took a spray bottle with a mixture of dish soap and ... you can put my new tranny in for me Will =) it's still sitting in my garage. Marty had his "Burple" (blue-purple blend) stripes made by a decal shop in OKC. If I remember right (it's that age thing again) he provided them original hood and side stripes to use for a pattern. I believe they saved the pattern, so they should be able to make stripes in any color ... I'm considering changing the color on mine just haven't decided which color thats why i still don't have a hood stripe.:P even better it needed some springs. which ones did you go with? not sure it was a surprise anniversary present. "No lies no embellishments" I think you mite of left out a few little details. You wrecked the front bumper again after I fixed the bumper for the same scrapes you complained about on the bottom. But I guess that isn’t the reason the bumper is hanging off I should warrantee that for life. They have been in business for i think close to 6yrs or longer lol i use to work for a bodyshop and they never did a half ass job or treated ppl like midwest has so only time will tell how many more years they will be in business it is bound to catch up with them at some ... I don't see them staying in business long. They have no customer service skills! no hood stripe..must be a black mach 1 thing ( i didn't put a new one on when i repainted my hood) |
