I have had none of the problems listed in here about switching a 3g iPhone to 4.0 os. If anything, pretty much everything seems to run smoother than before. I did have some lag at first, but a simple restart of the phone fixed it with not problem. It is a computer and does have to be restarted ...

I can't even remember how long ago it was I played the original Hot Pursuit.

The ball didn't increase in speed because of the added froce applied to the top of it. This caused the ball to flatten which applied more surface area to the ground which is why the ball did not increase it's speed while he was on it. The ball shoots away as he comes off of it however.
