Been googling it haven't found useful for 4v lol

I found an entire site dedicated to mach 1's that had lots of threads about engine removal. You clearly didn't search, or you don't know how to search. 2003 mach 1 engine removal were the keywords I used. No, I won't post the results as you can type it in yourself.

Everyone on forums are ass holes aren't they uve got the ones that think they're better because of this and that I typed all kinds of shit looking for specific step by step I'm not a car expert I've had one other mustang and it didn't have a problem like this.. And when I actually get into those pages on Mach 1 registry like I'm assuming if I'm wrong oh well they state basics I'm not mechanically inclined ik u pull certain things u make sure wires are out Of the way un hooked but is there certain steps do all these things need removed

If you are not mechanically inclined you should not be pulling your motor.
Rabbit 08.08.2014, 13:33
I'm changing the clutch done that before and changed an axle
Relentless 08.08.2014, 15:13
You can change a clutch but can't figure out how to pull an engine without a step by step? I've never seen a step by step on how to pull a motor, I guess everyone assumes you can figure it out if you want to go that in depth. It's not that hard man, if you can't figure it out then maybe you should take it to a shop

Unhook everything that connects engine and trans to the body/frame. Drain fluids, pull hood off and yank out the top. Not difficult, just time consuming.

Red mach 1 perhaps in Joplin? :)
Rabbit 08.08.2014, 16:44
Nope definitely not a red Mach in Joplin
LoganR 08.08.2014, 22:25
Weird that you didn't find the threads using the same keywords I used. Perhaps searching for 03-04 engine removal will work better for you. Regardless, if you're only changing the clutch why on earth would you pull the motor?!
Rabbit 08.08.2014, 22:29
The top bolt on the trans is stripped beyond belief u can ask squeak he's tried to get it out
squeak 08.08.2014, 22:35
Yeah the previous owner needs kicked in the sack daily. They stripped the bolt head on the very top of the bell housing. We cannot get anything to bite on it and there simply isn't enough room to get to it with the engine in the car.

I forgot you had mentioned that. My apologies.
