SoonerStang3 16.04.2014, 11:49
Just bought my 3.7 last week, and I have a feeling it will get some FI during its life with me. Anyone here own a 3.7 with FI?

take the money you would spend on a blower/turbo....sell your car.....then purchase a GT

I got my V6 for 10K less than the comparible GT. I am also saving for the blower over the course of my powertrain warranty, so that isn't exactly the same money logic. Plus, my wife wants the first mustang we have to be an auto, which this is. When I get my GT later in life, it will be a manual.

Not sure of anyone local with a blown 3.7. I thought about going that route, had an 01 V6 for the longest time, but all the videos of the 3.7 with a Procharger just sounded weird to me. Dunno.

forced induction does not equal money logic.

To me the 115 crank hp was not worth the extra $10K upfront cash at this point in my life. Not to mention, I have only ever owned a Civic, an E30, and a Prius, so the 305hp V6 sounds and moves better than anything else I have ever owned. If the IRS with the S550 works out well, I will probably get one of those GTs in a few years, or I will get an '08 Bullitt.
