Jefro 29.01.2013, 13:49

What exactly happens at the track and do we just show up with $30?
Jefro 05.02.2013, 02:24
The event is from 8-5. I usually get there around 8:30 so I can get some runs in before it gets hot. There are 3 groups; beginner, intermediate, & advanced. You will have someone ride with you around the track before the groups get started to get oriented with the track and after that you will run in the beginner group to start. The groups rotate throughout the day. We break for lunch to give everyone a break and then get back to it after that. You don't have to stay all day. Bring a chair to sit in. I just found out that I will be training to run events out there so you will see me coordinating a bit. The video is me running at one of the events so you can get an idea.

The track is short. Not too many people are concerned with the speedo when they should be breaking for the next turn.. ;)

I saw speeds of 80-85 in my first time out. it's a fun little track to run and it doesnt seem to be that hard on the car. but i am a novice so i didnt push it very hard.

Yes sir. They just have to fill out a waiver form and pay the $$.

I was getting closer to 90+ on the straights in mine. I think I saw 95 at one point when I glanced down.

Correct. You don't want a high speed track with novices. More chance of wrecks that way.
Jefro 05.02.2013, 19:50
When I was pushing it and trying to be consistent my times were around 0:57-1:00
