i usually talk to scott at bob moore, those guys take care of me. Randy the SM told me that as long as its something done and not gross negligence on our part he is all about helping us out.

They may change my pedal assembly out for me but I want to use the gt500 not the 3 spring fix. And I know they won't put my aftermarket clutch and flywheel in for me. I'll prolly just do it myself for the experience. I'm sure it won't be the last time I take it out but with these parts I'm getting I should be good to go for a long while. As long as I don't break the tranny.

Mr Anderson what clutch are you gonna go with this time?

I ordered a RXT, JHR line, and a new slave. should have it by thursday/friday. so I'll install it this weekend. I'll probably install the blower this week also.

tips, take you time. if you have a lift, definately use it. I got it out in my garage, but a lift definately would have made it easier. you will also need a couple supports for the engine support as you drop the engine a little over an inch and let the engine shift back as you drop the tranny. and of course a tranny jack, make sure you mark the support and the bolts for re-installation for that part also.

Thanks for the tips! Let me know how the install of the clutch goes. Im probably going to do mine next weekend if all my parts are in by then. You shouldnt have to change the clutch again with the rxt. Ive heard nothing but good stuff about these clutches.

hey BJ, where did you order the 500 pedal from? how much was it if you don't mind me asking? not sure if I'm gonna do that yet since after changing out the clutch I didn't have that problem with the pedal, but would like to know just in case.

wow this thing has a REAL light push almost feels lighter than stock, I guess I got so used to the SPEC pressure plate. BJ, definately got some pointers for you on the re-install. especially if you got the mcleod flywheel also.

Pointers for those that do this clutch with a McLeod billet steel flywheel, before you install the flywheel, template the locator pins and press them in if you have a press. when you install the flywheel make sure its keyed up to the 4 bolts on each side. loosely bolt all eight bolts in and hand tighten em down snug. once snug, turn each bolt in a star pattern a 1/4 turn until it's all the way down. use blue lock tight and torque to 65 ft/lb.
