Damn, that thing looks nice, and tough! Where all do you take something like that?
DAMAAAMAMAMMAMAMAMMMMMM im super jealous. I miss jeeps bad, almost bought a tj the other day and started looking at all the cool toys for them now and decided to go ahead and hold off a little while longer as they are such a money pitt.
Beautiful jeep, details!
5 lug huh, 60-44?
That thing looks sharp.. I've been trying to pick one up and can't seem to find one I'm happy with..

Thanks. Clayton is the best place in Oklahoma to play. You can Jeep for days at a time and always run new trails. Disney is fun, but can run everything in 1 day. Other than that, Oklahoma doesn't offer much.

Thanks. I was down your way picking this one up. A lot of new and very neat developments have taken place the last couple of years. Everyone is figuring out that weight savings are a huge benefit. If you get a Jeep, get one that is already fixed up. A lot of people dump money into these, then sell them once built. Its how I got this one. The guy just finished it, and wanted to start on something new.
I'm still working on my TJ, and to the point where I don't want to cut it up any further. Its still 100% streetable/highway use, so is great for the normal trails in Clayton, Moab, and all of Colorado and still be comfortable. The next step would make it un-streetable, and don't want to do that. This new Jeep is ready for the harder trails, so won't hurt if it gets a few dents, etc...
A few details:
85 CJ7
Dynatrac Pro-Rock 60's
Full PSC Hydro Steering
GM LQ4 6.0
Atlas II transfer-case (4.3)
King 2.5" 14" coil-overs
Fox 2.0 4" hydro-bumpstops
111" wheelbase (factory is 93" I think)
42" Iroks (sticky competition compound)
17" Trail-Ready beadlocks.
Drive up to Clayton sometime, and you can drive it!

Thanks. Checkout Pirate4x4, a lot of Jeeps for sale from stock to heavily modified.
Damn awesome "extra" jeep
Thanks. This one I can wheel and break, and not have to rush in getting it fixed. Also, more Jeeps = more people to wheel with!
It's so badass it can climb upside down!

The pics are normal on my computer, but upside down on the phone...
Which trans? that thing has got to be a beast with that setup. Cant believe he built it and sold it but that's how it goes sometimes. I'm with ya on not wanting to cut the tj up anymore for the streetable part. give me some notice on a clayton trip, i would love to ride along.

I think its a TH350.
It needs a little fine tuning. Blasting down the pastures, the springs are a little stiff, and the valving is a bit off. I'll test it on the rocks before changing anything in the coilovers.
A friend just picked up a Jimmys 4x4 buggy, and is wanting to visit Clayton. We are planning a Feb trip, I'll let you know.
Anyway, here is a quick teaser of my TJ.
