Project- 1967 F100

Well, I had been looking for a short bed f100 to build for about two years now. I picked this one up yesterday. It's a pretty solid truck to start with. (which is what took me so long to find the right one) So, I hope to start the disassembly sometime in the next month. The body is a little rough, so I'm not sure what can be worked out, and what panels I will have to replace...but the cab mounts are perfect...and that is not common with these trucks.

I'm not sure what direction I'm going in with it yet, but obviously get the body perfect, for a complete color change, crown Vic front clip for the suspension set up. Not sure, If I 'm going to bag it or not, but it will sit super low with some nice wheels/tires that tuck nicely. Completely new interior, etc... I just want a super nice Weekend cruiser, and have something fun to jump in to run to Home Depot. I regret everyday for selling my 72' longed, so I'm pretty sure this one will hang around a little longer.

The great thing about this truck, is I shouldn't have to make any changes to the drivetrain. It's all brand new, and is fresh as can be. Fully built 396/c6 with a shift kit. So it gets on down the road, and I don't see a need to make any changes. For an old truck...it's fast as balls.

Anyways, here's the truck. Nothing special to look at now, but should turn some heads when she's all finished up. I'm not sure how much progress will be made, and at what pace...but, I will update this thread as I go.

Yea, I called on a few others, but they were already sold.

Its prett solid..but definately a 20 footer. Its nice and shiny..but its a single stage paint, and wavvy as hell. Not really a straight panel on the truck. But, the color hides it pretty well. Im excited to get started.

NICE,cant wait to see progress!if you know of any inner fenders(where hood hinge bolts) that are in good shape,i need both sides and body trim clips for my 69.

Cool man...wish you would have let me know, I know of a white one with a straight body for $600 complete, not running now but needs freeze plugs. Has a 302 If memory serves. Body is pretty good on it too and ALL ORIGINAL.

Thanks. I'll pass it along. The 67-72's are more desirable than the 73+, but in due time...those will be polpular as well. Kinda like the 4eyed foxes. 10 years ago, they were the "bastard" fox bodys, but now they are making a big time come back.

True, I love the 4 eye foxes more than the others!
