meh, no clutch is that bad

Why is there some sort of honor in the car being less comfortable lol, why wouldn't you modernize it?

It's an RXT twin disc and it certainly wasn't great for cruising around town for an extended period. No stretched or broken cables is another plus :)
ruger311 14.12.2011, 22:04
i guess

hell i went auto so i cant talk anymore

i liked the feeling of a heavy clutch
pacettr 15.12.2011, 02:02
I like the pedal effort of my RST.
cobradoc 15.12.2011, 02:08
You can have your Specs, I'll stick with Centerforce and McCleod. Have a bunch of Rxt and rst out there running behind some serious power with no issues. But sure have removed a lot of Specs for customer complaints.

Killed a CF as well

Maybe I'm just hell on clutches
cobradoc 15.12.2011, 02:59
I have seen you run... Might be something to it.;-)
ruger311 15.12.2011, 03:17
Ha! Thanks!

I think I did a pretty good job rowing them ESP fighting the damn turbo

I have never had good luck with Centerforces. Tried a SPEC and have't used anything else in any other car since.

Had dual friction in my car when I bought it and it was done after 10k.

My specs have been great and never had any chatter issues like other people. Broke the clutch in and beat the shit out of it.
Pedal also is like stock too unlike centerforce

i had the excat opposite, my centerforce DFC's have all be smooth as can be and not too stiff the spec's ive drove are all very touchy off/on and stiff as hell which im not a fan of.

Im a huge centerforce fan ive had them in 3 of the mustangs ive owned now.

i guess its best to try to drive a car with the clutch you want. I will say Adam's car has the centerforce DFX in it and its still as hell.
ruger311 16.12.2011, 22:32
Thats bc machs have no powah!

Specs are supposed to be on off. ESP the puck styles. My Stg 3+ had a little slip but you dint want that anyway
OWMach1 16.12.2011, 22:34
Word... stock ones anyway... Ill sacrafice powah for drivability.
ruger311 16.12.2011, 22:49
Ha. Never scrafice the POWAH
