A young man (13), Peter Lenz, who was an up and coming American phenom died this weekend at Indy. Couple vid links for a quick cliff notes of this young mans talent and ability, but then i would like to hear opinions on the last link as aired on Fox News this morning.

Peter at age 10 ....
After injury last year ....

That's really sad. I think it's stupid though that they are trying to say motorcycle riding is too young for a 13 year old.

OK I'm watching the news reel and I wanna punch this lady in the face. Entirely a dumbass. Saying that child protective services should check in on the family because he was racing at a sanction event!

I dont think there should be any legal matters against the parents. It's definately a hairy subject... But in reality, kids can be injured severely smashing into each other at a young age playing football...we dont stop that.

What a horrible loss though. Those parents are going to feel such a guilt.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

It'd be nice when people stop giving their opinions just because they're on a news cast... not like that will ever happen.

all of us just need to stop parenting of any kind and give up our children to DHS so they can be raised in human hamster balls until they're 18 by women and men that haven't ever even had a child, but have some 4yr diploma... so that they can then be processed and incarcerated by our legal system until they're too old to be of any use to society...

I don't see what all the big deal is, we all just need to stop any form of parenting, and give our children to DHS so they can be raised in human hamster balls until they're 18 by women and men who have never had children, but have some 4yr diploma on the wall, so that after they're 18th birthday they can be processed and incarcerated in our jail and legal system until they are of the age that they are too old to be of any use to society. Or we can always just adopt the muslim child care system, and start strapping them up with explosives and start bombing our enemies...

Wendy Murphy would have us lock the kids up in their rooms, feed them cheetos and mountain dew, only letting them out to go to school, have sex, and play video games. What a byatch... she probably has her kids use the "hahns" neck brace and helmet every time she drives them around in her suv, never talks on the cell phone while driving or coffee/drink either I'm sure.

Obviously the female lawyer doesn't believe in personal freedom or persuit of happiness. The kid is wearing protective gear, so how is there parental neglect? The way she thinks about the situation is one of the things that is wrong with America today. I'd like to see this stay a free country. If a kid can't do something where he might get hurt, then we are basically forbidden to do anything.

Accidents happen. That is part of life. Mind your own business lady! If you don't want your kid to participate then don't let your kid do it. If I let mine participate in a sanctioned activity that you don't personally approve of, that is not your business.

Another thing on the "neglect". I noticed in the video after the wreck last year that it looked like he had some excellent medical attention to get him healed.
Relentless 30.08.2010, 20:44
At least he died doing something he loved, I could be so lucky. The kid had an expert license and I watched some videos of him when he was 10, i'm pretty sure he knew what he was doing. It's not like a hit like that couldn't kill an adult, I don't see what the big deal is regarding his age

Her hair looks like she has had her face buried in a pillow for the last few hours taking it in the ass. She needs to mind her own business and not tell people how to raise their kids.
mustangracer84 30.08.2010, 20:56
I think what happened was she was looking around in the bottom of her purse one halloween, and mixed up her husband's dick for the rubber clown nose, and she got used to it being on her nose, because that is the closest one's ever been to her face, so now she can't help but stick her nose into places it don't belong and f everything up for other people.
