Yep I got passed up for like the 3rd year in a row now. But there was like 5 or 6 years that me and my dad always got drawn. Ah well maybe next year. So where ya going and what ya gonna hunt?

My father in law called a week ago or so and told me we drew down for Gruber again, but I wasnt paying attention to any details. I need to call him and ask.

PS... Last year I shot a 12 point buck out at gruber with my Pro Hunter 7mm mag from about 100 yds and about took his head clean off. Needless to say it wasnt a possible mount. Sucks.... he was the biggest one Ive shot in almost 10 years. In fact, probably biggest one Ive seen in that long.

i didn't in oklahoma but we got drawn for 2 bulls and 2 cow elk in colorado and i am going to tryto go to montana hunting this year also

7mm @ 100 yards? Yep, that was an ugly sight I am sure. Do you hunt larger game in Colorado/New Mexico as well? That is alot of gun for around where I hunt. Too bad on the buck, would have made a nice mount.
