including flowmaster intake. 94GTStang 02.04.2007 08:19 That intake is awesome interesting... 1finesdime 02.04.2007 08:43 Yea im going to do the same!!! NOT. I think my rigging days are over. If I was to build a twin turbo Im sure I could have thought of something way better then the muffler topper. It looks like he didnt remove the baffles which are going to screw his boost potential all to hell, or atleast thats what id think Damn... His welds make mine look pretty..
Todd orangeRcode 02.04.2007 09:37 I would have thought he would have at least taken the grinder to those welds prior to taking pics of them. I am a welding hack and even I could make them look better than that. Got to give the guy credit for diving right in. Lots of people like to criticize without having done it. Myself included. I've actually attemped/done a turbo build.. Stayed relatively cheap too, but I would have at least invested in some simple bends.. You're talking about $50 extra max..

Good point. A buddy of mine is building a twin setup for his Vert Fox. He is a dob welder like myself. He was smart enough to buy a bunch of bends to utilize for the piping. He just about has the cold side finished up. He throws a few spot welds to hold it in place then is having them tig welded to look pretty. creampuff93 02.04.2007 10:50 I hope he does not plan to put alot of boost to that thing, or its gonna crack the heck out of all those welds Jester84 02.04.2007 11:07 hahahah That is awesome lol.. .Gotta give the guy credit! stangfather 02.04.2007 12:12 the intake is sweet LOL BlueCuda 02.04.2007 17:14 LOL wow, I assumed you guys were talking about a flowmaster Y pipe which is kind of common to use for twin turbo intake setups. I never in the world would have expected to see a flowmaster muffler used as a carb hat. 1poorracer 02.04.2007 17:29 my buddy has a pre-fabbed kit by Incon? anyways, we are putting it on my old red car that he now owns, i want to do a single, or twin turbo setup on a fox pretty soon, i need to put the 80 capri back together, the red car back together, and put the 84 Capri RS back together, he is fabbing some stuff up, and we are going with a supercharger off of a 3.8? 90something olds i think, we have the adapter for the carb, but not to put it on the intake, but you have to give that guy some credit, i might try something like that for cheap, but i will not be using his carb hat 66StangFastback 02.04.2007 22:35 I love how the link is already logged in and anyone can go through the PMs. 69fastback 02.04.2007 22:42 I'm at a loss for words.
