Like others have alluded to it depends on what you want to do with the car. The Shelby will be capable of more reliable HP with just bolt ons. Not that the Coyote is not reliable but any moderate level of forced induction on the stock bottom end you are taking a much larger risk versus the Shelby

I lost a points championship one year because I glued 2 carb gaskets together, been like that all year, was leading the points by ~50 and race before the last one I got dq'ed and not allowed to race the next week. 69fastback's buddy Posey ended up winning that year.
