I have a 10 inch in the trunk of my car and it shakes it pretty well.

its all about power management, correct box size, correct speaker selection etc.... if done right, you can easily make an 8" speaker sound like a 15" or a pair of 12"s

kicker pecvr12.. it pounds!!!! and support your local stereo shop before buying online... sure the price might be better, but you will be kicking yourself in your ass when you have a tech question, warranty problem, tuning... your local stereo shop will guide you in the right direction... ...
